Dirtnap Records have been a roll with a non stop output of some of the best power pop and punk albums of 2011, Bad Sports’ Kings Of The Weekend and High Tension Wires’ Welcome New Machine are my immediate favorites. They also have a knack of grabbing a hold of some of the finer Canadian bands: Steve Adamyk Band, The White Wires and now Sonic Avenues. With all the aforementioned goodness, what more can you expect from Sonic Avenues then a punch of ‘77 punk attitude and power pop hooks that’ll cause Exploding Hearts.
